So I turned 40 this week, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. It's finally nice to have a huge milestone for myself and not just for my kids. I feel like I am also hitting a milestone in my career, as we focus more on design. So of course, I had to experience the mecca of Home Design--High Point, North Carolina. OMG!

The belle of the ball was Joanna Gaines from the HGTV show called Fixer Upper. Her face was plastered on every poster, billboard and bag. I don’t know about you but I’m a huge fan of Chip and Joanna and the empire they built. So, of course, some of the trends we saw were the farmhouse look and the bohemian chic look.
