A Sleek & Modern Master Bath With Black Accents-Polished Parkers

Jennifer and Jason Parker just wanted to update their master bathroom. Nothing too radical, they said in our first conversation. It should fit with the rest of the house, and make sure that the shower has good water pressure. Well, as I listened to their dreams, paying attention to what got them excited, and looked closely at their vision board, I saw that they really wanted to expand beyond the traditional look. What we ended up with was a modern, sleek, and inviting space where many features besides the water pressure were exceptional.

The Parkers Wishlist

  • Get rid of the old school, built in jet tub!

  • Maximize counter space & storage

  • Brighten the space

  • Increase functionality

  • Create a luxury Shower

The Shower

In its original design, the shower resembled more of a separate and enclosed room that didn’t allow for good air flow. To achieve the luxurious shower the Parkers sought, we knew we would have to expand this space.

Construction!!!

Nothing like demolition day.  Especially when its lead by the right team. We worked with Jose Jara of Full Builders. Amid the knocking out of large walls, he paid close attention to the little details. That is what matters most to me to bring my vision to life.

The Reveal

As the project evolved it became clear that the Parkers had a contemporary/modern streak and they were willing to explore. So I pushed their design in a different direction then expected and they were all in. We went for a sleek white floating vanity. Black accents for fixtures, lighting & hardware, grounded by the walnut wood shelves & green accents.

The Shower

The Parkers are a couple who enjoy the outdoors and a good walk to the hidden waterfall. Could we bring this natural outdoor element indoors? Yes, with a shower head that flows like a waterfall. I love an interesting, creative challenge that ultimately delights my clients.

Concept Renderings

4K Renderings are an excellent way to give clients a feel of what their spaces before they are brought to life. It really helps clients see what is is my head & trust the process. It is also super cool when the project comes out just like my rendering suggested.
